Meet the Real Animals of Tiny Hiney Farm

Our farm-animal designs aren't drawn from imagination — they're inspired by the very real, very tiny, very spoiled critters who call Tiny Hiney Farm home. This little reservation-only farm in Fort Myers, Florida is family-owned and packed with miniature animals, each with a name, a personality, and (usually) a ridiculous origin story.

🐄 The Miniature Highland Cattle

Five cows. Five stories. Zero plans.

• Otis — 31" tall. Rode home from a live auction in the backseat of a truck. No trailer, no warning, just those baby eyes. It was over.
• LC — 32" tall. Arrived like the queen she is and hasn't stopped talking since.
• Louis V — our long-haired Highland bull, as majestic as his name suggests, with a magnificent flowing coat.
• Button — our sweet spotted girl who wears her pink harness with total confidence.
• Maybelline — the newest spotted beauty; her full story is still being written.

Highland cattle have a double coat (a soft undercoat and a long shaggy outer coat), and their "bangs" — called a dossan — protect their eyes from wind and insects. Fierce looks, gentle hearts.

🐴 Miniature Ponies — Wheatan & Barley

• Wheatan — the cream miniature pony.
• Barley — the chestnut miniature pony.

Sweet, gentle, and absolute hogs for attention. They stand under 34–38 inches but have all the proportions (and smarts) of a full-sized horse. Brush their coats and feed them a treat — they'll be your best friend.

🫏 Micro Mini Donkeys — Mojo, Moho, Don, Keys & Kong

Five donkeys, five personalities, two very different stories. Don and Keys were here from the beginning — a bonded pair. Then there's Mojo, a 26" micro mini we didn't even know existed until we went looking. (Turns out there's a whole classification below "mini donkey," and once you know, you can't unknow it.) Moho stands 32", and baby Kong is still growing into his measurements.

They're known for incredibly soft, plush fur and the gentlest temperament on the property. Favorite things: ear scratches, carrots, and gentle hugs.

🐐 The Goats & the Kids' Playground

Our Nigerian Dwarf goats (and a few fainting goats) have taken over a giant playground structure with swings, ramps, and a 16-foot elevated walkway bridge overlooking the whole farm. When no birthday party or tour is using it, the gate opens and the goats run every ramp and claim the highest spots like they own the place. Goats have rectangular pupils that give them nearly 360-degree vision — and they can learn their own names.

🐑 Baa-Baa & Black Sheep — Our Accidental Herd

This is the most surprising story on the farm. We went to an auction to buy goats — and we did — but somewhere in that pack were two sheep we didn't notice until midnight when we got home and started sorting everyone into the pen. We woke up the next morning to some very unique-looking "goats." Around the same time we brought home Baa-Baa (white) and Black Sheep (dark), both bottle babies we fed every three hours for two weeks straight. All four now share a pen — and they're the most docile animals on the farm. No ramming, no headbutting. Just neck scratches and ear pulls, please.

🐂 Cocoa & Struggles — Our Miniature Zebu Cows

Our tiny Zebu duo rounds out the cattle crew — miniature, humped, and full of character.

🐔 The Feathered Friends

Bantam chickens, Bourbon Red turkeys, and Pekin ducks — each with their own personality and story. The Colonel would be proud.

🐰 The Small Stuff

Rabbits, guinea pigs, a chinchilla, and tortoises round out the smaller residents. Something tiny to love around every corner.

Tiny Hiney Farm is reservation-only — book a guided tour, a private tour, a birthday party, or the once-in-a-lifetime "Morning on the Farm" experience where you bottle-feed a baby Highland cow. Then swing by The Sassy Heifer gift shop and take a piece of the pasture home on a tee, tumbler, or tote.
